External Refurbishment

Leeds City Council commissioned a major refurbishment scheme of four 14 floor blocks of flats in the Poplar area of Leeds.
The extensive external refurbishment included:
- External concrete repairs
- Application of protective coatings
- Roof insulation
- Asphaltic coatings
- Cavity insulation
- Repairs to bin chutes, bin store doors and general external upgrading of ground level services
All works were carried out from suspended cradle access to minimise security problems.
The high standard of work carried out led to two further contracts of similar size and scope in the Rycroft and Armley areas of Leeds.
